Soma is ready for the next challenge in the upcoming episode of the series. Food Wars!: Shokugeki No Soma Season 5, Episode 7 will see Soma going against one of the underground chefs. The episode is called Crossed Knives.

It looks like Christmas has come early for the BLUE Championship participants as the theme for the next challenge is Christmas cake. The official website of the series has released the synopsis for Food Wars!: Shokugeki No Soma Season 5, Episode 7.

Meanwhile, in the previous episode, the announcer reveals that the castle consists of three gates, then the castle keeps, and finally, the participants will enter the castle tower. The victor of the competition will be decided in the castle tower.

Meanwhile, when the participants learn about the inclusion of Noir, they wonder if the competition is for normal chefs. However, they learn that the goal of the BLUE is to have top young chefs compete.

In the meantime, Nikumi manages to enter BLUE competition premises and she has a message for the Soma and others from Eizan Etsuya who is the Totsuki Elite Ten Eighth Seat.

Meanwhile, a participant named Sarge uses a chainsaw in her cooking, which she calls the chain carving knife. Nikumi explains that she blows the mind of anyone who eats her dishes and destroys their tastebuds.  

Sarge is also knowns as the master of the Armed Dish.

Another Noir chef named Marcanta, the master of the Circus dish shows his unique style of cooking. Nikumi reveals that Marcanta uses special pots that become a ball when he puts them together.

She adds that when he spins the pots, they create centrifugal force, and a heating element inside grills the meat. Soma needs to up his game against these chefs.

Food Wars!: Shokugeki No Soma Season 5, Episode 7 will hit the airwaves on Friday, Aug. 14, 2020.
