While every celebrity is dealing with the ongoing coronavirus in their own way, Ricky Martin seems to have different troubles with the lockdown orders issued by the government. There are many celebs who shared their daily routine and how they have been holding up but Martin shared that he had no clue what to do.
Martin spoke candidly in an interview for Out magazine's latest issue. The singer opened up about his anxiety being a workaholic. He soon realized that his connection with the stage is disconnected and that made him worried.
"I went through this mourning process of me letting go of the possibility of ever performing in front of 20,000 people again. That’s what they were telling us. For me it was like, I don’t know how to do anything else," Martin told the outlet.
Martin explained that his enthusiasm for performing on the stage made him realize so many things. The 48-year-old star said that he always thought of walking up to the stage at the age of 70, no matter how ridiculous he might look.
The performer admitted that he doesn't mind holding a cane on stage if required. However, Martin disclosed that he was extremely disappointed when he had to quarantine. As fans were expecting, the performer turned towards his forte and created Extended Plays called Play and Pausa.
The King of Latin Pop admitted that he made his first EP for the sake of coping with his anxiety. Martin is currently quarantined with his four kids and wife, Jwan Yosef. The couple shares Matteo and Valentino, 12-year-old twins, who are learning karate through video call along with their homeschooling.
The youngest two are a one-year-old son named Renn and a two-year-old daughter named Lucia. The singer said that the young ones continue to cry, eat, and sleep. Ricky Martin... Live Black & White Tour star mentioned family extension in the future.
Martin revealed he'd love to have grandchildren one day and his every weekend will be occupied with family only. However, he further said that at the moment he is focusing on what will happen next.
In fact, he jokingly said that he is looking forward to having ten more kids but then the next morning when he sees his young ones crying, he drops the plan. The singer admitted that he had anyways dreamt about starting his own family but he had gone through the "grieving process".
