Kane Brown recently opened up about how he and some of his friends got lost in the singer's new 30-acre property and had no choice but to call cops to rescue them from his own backyard. His recent adventure into the woods on his property led him to seek help from police to find their way home.

The 26-year-old country star divulged details about how and some of his friends were lost on his own property last week in an interview with Extra. A few days after the interview, he debunked rumors in a Facebook post, sharing a new photo along with what he described as the "real story."

"Someone help! I’m lost," Brown joked before revealing the real story about moving into a new house located within the 30 acres of 3,000 around him. He told his wife Katelyn Jae that he would be back in thirty minutes after checking out the property, but the 30 minutes turned in 3 hours.

To make things worse, Brown said it started raining, turned dark and the temperature dropped to 40 degrees. While he had let his phone on the back of his truck, his friend's phone was left with only a 7 percent battery. They tried using GPS to get back but it kept taking them to cliffs, where driving a 4 wheeler down was dangerous.

As his last resort, Brown called Ryan Upchurch who is from the area. Upchurch and his friend managed to find Brown but still couldn't find their way back. In short, what started with three of them lost, became 5 of them lost, Brown explained. Four of the singer's other friends who were riding around in CanAm were getting shot at.

On top of that, his friend's girlfriend, who has asthma had started freaking out. Left with no other choice, they had to call the cops to get her out. When the cops arrived, they see gunshots and thought that Brown and his friends were shooting at them.

They yelled and told the cops that they weren't armed and made it out, much to their relief. The "Good As You" singer concluded the story saying he would fancy getting lost in his back yard rather than in his new property. Upchurch shared a video on Instagram, revealing that his experience was more horrifying than it may seem.

He noted that Kane was lost on a recently purchased property that he didn't really know that well. He said he, along with his brother and a couple of his friends went into the woods and needed GPS just to reach his home. After they find him, they ran out of gas, their phones had no service, making things even scarier.
