Donald Trump isn't one of America's most popular presidents but there are a few people who hope that he beat Joe Biden, proving that the former vice president is subject to disapproval as well. Bernard Goldberg is no fan of the president but hopes that he wins re-election in a landslide.
The author and journalist shared a post on his personal website on Monday pointing out that he doesn't like anything about Trump's character, but wants the Republican candidate to beat the Democratic candidate. Noting that he wised the Republican candidate were almost anybody else, the political pundit wrote that he wants Joe Biden to lose more than the president to win.
He went on to slam "puppet" Joe Biden, accusing him of not even knowing what he stands for as the party's presumptive Democratic nominee. Furthermore, he claimed that if Biden ends up winning in Nov., it will be Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., and Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., who will be running the show, instead.
Goldberg wrote that Portland and other cities run by progressive Democrats have been subject to all sorts of chaos and destructions, but no one in the Democratic Party is willing to condemn and stand up against the violence like they really mean it. He deemed them cowards that are afraid of receiving a backlash from the party's hard left-wing, and if someone stands up against the violence the progressive will put up a primary opponent to run against you.
The longtime Fox News contributor and CBS News reporter wrote that Democrats do not boast his values, adding that they do not care about people like he does. Moreover, American people like him do not want their tax money to pay for free comprehensive healthcare who immigrants who snuck quietly into the country and live illegally, he wrote.
Goldberg predicted that if the Democrats win in Nov., free speech will be in danger. He explained that what is currently is touted as hate speech could be labeled as a crime. To make things worse, they will decide what is hateful and what is not, he said.
If Biden and his "progressive puppet masters," end up winning in fall, he warned that the cancel culture will be in full bloom, adding that the worse is yet to come. Although he doesn't support Biden, Goldberg said he will not go out to vote for Trump either, Fox News reported.
He noted that not voting for Trump is like voting for Biden, but said that's Trump’s doing, not his. If Biden wins, he said, it would be because of Trump and not because of him.
