A tabloid has reported that Leah Remini plans to slam Hollywood star Tom Cruise and his controversial religion by inviting his former wife Katie Holmes on her recently started Scientology podcast.
Remini began her new podcast in July, which is known as Scientology: Fair Game. An outlet feels that the actress plans to target the Top Gun star and is even making efforts to invite Holmes to know how her experience had been with Scientology.
The podcast is tipped to be the follow up of the Second Act star’s exclusive docuseries called Scientology and the Aftermath. It was about the kind of experiences many former members had with Scientology.
However, the latest podcast will mainly focus on a special doctrine of the church called Fair Game. Speculations are rife that the podcast will spend time digging into the actor’s character.
An insider mentioned that Leah Remini seems to have taken an inspiration from Thandie Newton who recently revealed how afraid she had been while working with Tom Cruise while filming for the 2000 movie Mission Impossible 2.
An unnamed insider also maintains that the Old School actress is aware that Cruise is not a nice person. She is, allegedly, motivating other stars in Hollywood to open up and narrate tales about the Mission Impossible star.
The source said that Tom Cruise’s former wife Katie Holmes appears to be one of those people in Hollywood. While Leah Remini’s plan may not succeed, she is making all possible efforts to get the Batman Begins actress on her podcast to share her experiences of the Scientology church.
However, Holmes has been tight-lipped about her marriage and divorce from the actor for so many years. So, it is hardly likely that the First Daughter star would decide to open up all of a sudden.
Additionally, Holmes is not known to make any remarks on the church publicly. So, why should she alter her stance all of a sudden? There are no satisfactory answers to all these logical questions.
Meanwhile, Gossip Cop claims that they had got in touch with a representative of Holmes for their reactions. They were told that the report was completely false.
In other news, a recent Instagram post of Holmes took her fans by surprise and they appeared to be thoroughly confused. She uploaded a clip with an endearing caption, “Too cute.” The clip shows a tiny turtle bouncing in the waters for a very short time and then disappearing into the ocean.
Many of her fans remarked that a bigger animal seems to have eaten this baby turtle. However, Katie Holmes’ fans were, by and large, left scratching their heads about the caption of the clip, Marie claire reports.
