Heather Morris went on Instagram for a Live session on Aug. 8, where she broke down as soon as she mentioned her late co-star Naya Rivera. Morris considered Rivera not only a co-star but also a friend. Rivera was missing since July 8 and later found drowned in the lake.
The 33-year-old Glee fame went boating with her four-year-old son in California. Morris shot a video in which she thanked all her fans for supporting her through these difficult times. In the emotional video clip, the actress shared how she is coping with the grief of losing a friend. Also, she mentioned that the entire cast of the show is with the fans as they can connect on a deeper level.
“Grief looks different on everybody, and I want you to be gentle and kind to yourself during this time. Something that’s helped me is to write a letter or talk to her and so I hope that helps. But I really just wanted to connect to you guys and tell you how much I love and appreciate all of you,” she said.
The Most Likely to Die star said that's all she has besides her tears. Morris admitted that she has been experiencing ache in her heart and feeling heavy to come forward and address fans. Morris portrayed Rivera’s love interest on the show and she admitted that the storyline is extremely essential to the fans of Glee.
Morris explained that most people might feel like it was a gateway in the present life and most people might see it as an inspiration. Morris acknowledged that the character helped many fans to become the best version of themselves.
The actress said that she and Rivera knew that the bond was so special. She expressed immense happiness that so many fans came forward and reached out. Morris revealed that writers on the show have been writing further keeping the fans in mind.
Morris is currently feeling deeply connected with all the Glee fans. She busted into tears while sharing her feelings through the video clip posted on Instagram. She realized that the relationship between Morris' character and Rivera's character on-screen was tremendously important to the fans.
The Psycho Wedding Crasher star admitted that everyone is feeling lost right now and what happened to Rivera is difficult to cop. However, writers and actors are doing their best to keep the fans engaged and design the storyline that will ensure the best experience.
