Kate Middleton has been working very hard since she joined the royal family in 2011. Though she does not have royal blood, the mother of Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince George has proven, time and again, that she deserves to be the future Queen Consort of the United Kingdom.
Recently, Kate revealed details about her emotional visit to a Sheffield baby bank, Tuesday (August 4). The wife of Prince William donned a white summer dress and a reusable cotton face mask for the first time. However, reports claimed that the mom-of-three cried after her visit to “vulnerable” families after she arrived home.
"It can get very emotional. I remember a couple of the families I met from King's Lynn and I went home and literally burst into tears, their stories were so moving,” Kate Middleton said, per Daily Express. “The struggles they have gone through, the bravery they have shown...in extraordinary circumstances,” she added.
The Duchess of Cambridge, according to the report, visited Baby Basic UK to launch a new initiative she initiated, which is getting major British retailers and brands to donate approximately 10,000 new items to more than 40 baby banks across the U.K. These baby banks were, reportedly, proved to be of great help, especially for those parents who are struggling amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Photos of Kate Middleton during the said visit were posted on the official Instagram account of the Kensington Palace. The snaps featured the Duchess beaming and wearing a brown apron as she helped unpack donations. The caption, also, revealed that Kate talked to the parents about how baby banks have bestowed aid and support when they needed it most.

Meanwhile, Kate and Prince William, reportedly, led a bingo session with residents from Shire Hall Care Home. The royal pair, also, enjoyed a few games at an arcade featured in Gavin and Stacy series.
The Duchess of Cambridge even drew laughter during a meeting with the residents. One woman asked Prince William if Kate Middleton was his assistant. The 38-year-old royal, jokingly, said yes and added that she has been her husband’s aide for a long time.
The couple, allegedly, decided not to inform the public about their visits to prevent their followers from gathering. However, residents crowded Kate and Prince William during their visit to Barry Island, which is among the pair’s first join engagements since the COVID-19 posed threats around the world.
