The Duke of Cambridge has garnered loads of praise for doing exactly what royals are supposed to do. Royal experts, Chris Ship and Lizzie Robinson while talking with ITV’s Royal Rota shed light on Prince William’s campaign with England women’s national football team captain Steph Houghton.

Prince William took part in the encouragement of the team and his presence was well felt. The captain has praised the Duke for centering the attention on the psychological aspect of football rather than just focusing on physical competencies required to excel in the game.

Ms. Houghton highlighted that the mental side of the game is often sidelined – everybody from players to coach pays attention to physical health and activity not realizing the fact that mental wellbeing has an important role to play in upholding the overall performance in the game.

In addition, Ms. Houghton has thanked Prince William for supporting the campaign in order to bring about a positive change not only in football but in all forms of sports and life. His efforts are sure to help fans and everybody anyhow related to sports in understanding the enormous importance of mental health.

Mr. Ship is happy about what Prince William has done. Additionally, he has recognized Prince William’s job as a typical royal act saying, “This is what the royals are about, isn’t it?” The royal expert added that Prince William has done a great job steering media’s attention to issues that are necessary especially at this point in time.

Last week, a video was tweeted on the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s Twitter account – a mini clip showing the Duke enjoying an outdoor screening of the FA Cup final between Chelsea and Arsenal with his friends. This may seem like a normal tweet, but it was a part of the Prince’s promotion of the mental health campaign Heads Up.

Prince William mocks the Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang over trophy lifting and said, “That is why they need the President there.” The Prince’s Twitter fanbase showed an incredible amount of appreciation to his mindful joke about the FA Cup lifting.

A royal doing the royal act – Prince William has, lately, come to the forefront to spread awareness about issues that are important for everyone to understand. Besides royal experts, sports fans all around the world have found Prince’s initiatives to be very important for long-term wellbeing – the number of retweets and the kind of comments suggest.

It can easily be said that Prince William is vigilant and trying to help everywhere he can.
