Jason Momoa is raising the standards higher for husband goals. Momoa earned some extra brownie points by doing something special for Lisa Bonet. The couple has been married for over three years and the Aquaman star doesn't seem to leave any chance to impress his better half.
Recently, the 41-year-old actor admitted that he went to a great extent and ensured that Ford Mustang 1965's model vintage car is flawless to drive. This vintage car was Bonet's first-ever car and as a result, it remained special.
Momoa recorded every moment of his hard work and efforts that involved professional help to restore the vintage car and shared it on YouTube. The actor took Misha Munoz, who is an expert and president of Divine 1 Customs in the city of Las Vegas to help him out with the entire process of restoration.
The Game of Thrones fame efforts was directed by The Hungover Games' actor Damien Bray and the title of the video reads "MY WIFE'S FIRST MUSTANG". In the video, the Momoa revealed the back story of the car and referred to the vintage vehicle being his wife's first love.
Momoa also explained the entire restoration transformation the car has been through. The actor admitted that reliving the memory is not an option, however, there is an option to rebuild those memories.
Momoa disclosed that the hunk covered with rust was bought by the Enemy of the State star when she was just 17-year-old. Mustang is rare now and that made the project even more difficult. The actor had to hunt down custom parts that could fit in the vintage car even before the transformation started.
Although after spending hours of hard work, manual labor, and most importantly time, the final output turned out to be great for the couple. Automotive art was highly appreciated in the comments section.
"To be in this passenger seat with my wife here and surprise her and our babies in the back -- riding in her first car when she was 17 -- I’m excited to see her face. It’s come a long way, a long way," Momoa said after the restoration process was completed.
Momoa ensured that his wife's eyes were closed before she was close to the restored version of the car. However, once she opened her eyes, the new version swept off her feet. She called the output extremely beautiful and gorgeous. The couple quickly settled in their dream car along with their children and went for a ride.
