Prince Charles and Prince Andrew’s relationship has always been strained. And it seems that history is repeating itself with Prince William and Prince Harry.

According to Woman’s Day, Prince Charles and Prince Andrew have always had issues growing up. First, the royal siblings were very different from one another.

Prince Andrew was also regarded as Queen Elizabeth’s favorite. And he also happens to be more attractive than Prince Charles, and the heir to the throne acknowledged this.

As they got older, the differences between the royal siblings became even more glaring. Prince Charles was a quiet and reserved student, while Prince Andrew was regarded as a bully by some of his schoolmates.

When it comes to matters of the heart, Prince Charles and Prince Andrew’s taste in women couldn’t have been more different. And while Prince Andrew was close to Prince Charles’ ex-wife, Princess Diana, the heir to the throne was never that close to Sarah Ferguson.

In fact, when the Prince and Princess of Wales started having a falling out, Fergie sided with the late royal. And in doing so, the Duchess of York had an even more distant relationship with her brother-in-law.

Fast forward to the present time, it seems that Prince William and Prince Harry are following in their dad and uncle’s footsteps. In Finding Freedom, authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand said that the siblings are still at odds with each other.

According to Woman’s Day, Prince William and Kate Middleton decided to fly to Los Angeles to confront Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. During their trip, the royal siblings had a private showdown.

“William has always toed the palace line of never complain, never explain, but Harry and Meghan have pushed him to his last nerve. This book, which despite the author’s denials, has Meghan’s fingerprints all over it, has painted William to be a snob and his wife to an unwelcoming ice queen – and nothing could be further from the truth. William and Kate have tried everything else – phone calls, texts, quiet conversations behind closed doors – to no avail,” the source said.

However, the details of Prince William and Prince Harry’s alleged confrontation have not yet been made public. This proves that the claims made by the tabloid may not be accurate.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge didn’t fly to Los Angeles to have a showdown with the Sussexes.
