While fans are eagerly waiting for their stars to come up with new content amid the pandemic crisis, it seems stars are on a spree to release quality stuff. Beyoncé has joined the clan that keeps the fans entertained during the lockdown.
Beyoncé released her new music album called Black Is King. The visual album is launched on July 31. She announced the upcoming music album through social media along with a one minute and twenty-two-second trailer.
The official handle of Disney+ revealed on Twitter that the new visual album is a film by Beyoncé, which is inspired by The Lion King: The Gift. Unlike other albums, this one has announced on July 19 and after almost a week the Black Is King streamed on the Disney+.
The first look was also shared on Beyoncé’s website in June. While Black Is King is being premiered by Disney+ globally, the visual album is directed, executive produced and written by the 38-year-old singer. Beyoncé has previously voiced Lion King remake's theatrical release in 2019.
Black Is King will ensure that fans cherish the feature animated movie The Lion King: The Gift, which was created by Beyoncé. Kendrick Lamar, Singer’s husband Jay-Z, Childish Gambino, her 8-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter, and Pharrell visited the filming location.
“The voyages of Black families, throughout time. A young king’s transcendent journey through betrayal, love and self-identity. Black Is King is an affirmation of a grand purpose, with lush visuals that celebrate Black resilience and culture,” Beyoncé said.
While fans are delighted to be treated with a new album, unfortunately, it is available on only Disney+ and no other online streaming platform. The music is also inspired by the Black lives in the United States and African culture.
The album is expected to have a strong message. Black Is King will focus on the celebration of life from Black people's point of view. It will revolve around different age groups and reprise the present. It will display the generational beliefs and connecting various cultures.
This visual treat won't be the first groundbreaking album for Beyoncé. She debuted on the HBO network with Lemonade and later moved to Spotify. Besides that, the singer has been in the spotlight because of her way of protecting her daughter.
Apparently, Beyoncé and her husband rented an entire hospital wing that costs them $1 million. However, fans are expecting a glimpse of her daughter in the visual treat.
