Natalia Bryant, the 17-year-old daughter of the late NBA star Kobe Bryant and Vanessa Bryant, received a cardigan from Taylor Swift precisely like the one from her recently released music video from the album "Folklore."
Per NME, Swift is a close friend of the Bryant's for years and thought of sending Natalia the cardigan, which made the 17-year-old posted on Instagram Story saying, "Thank you SO much @taylorswift. I am obsessed with folklore."
The cardigan is made available to be purchased by the fans on Swift's website for $49 that comes with a standard digital edition of the "Folklore" album, which will be sent through the email of the purchaser upon check out. The said cardigan has a star embroidery on both arms and a light gray album title patch on the left chest with dark grey font; these are the few creative add-ons of the purchased version.
The said album was announced a day before the single, "Cardigan" was released on the 24th of July. Swift also revealed on Entertainment Tonight Online that the track is about "a lost romance and why young love is often fixed so permanently within our memories." She even unfolded that "Cardigan's" music video has some hidden Easter eggs, where she purposely placed them for the fans to find. She added, "I created character arcs and recurring themes that map out who is singing about who." Also, the song has mentioned different clothing types, but the primary reference is the title itself.
The 30-year-old artist wrote and directed the music video of "Cardigan" herself. She wrote on Instagram on Thursday thanking the people who helped her with this project, "A million thank you's to my brilliant, badass video team - cinematographer Rodrigo Prieto, producer Jil Hardin, executive producer Rebecca Skinner, AD 'Oz' Osbourne, editor Chancler Haynes, special effects wizards David Lebensfeld & Grant Miller, and set designer Ethan Tobman."
Meanwhile, the singer was forced to cancel all of her touring commitments, including a colossal slot at Glastonbury due to the coronavirus outbreak. Although the things she had planned for this year's summer did not end up happening, others did happen, such as her eighth studio album, "Folklore." She also explained that this record would collaborate with massive stars like The National guitarist Aaron Dessner, American singer-songwriter and record producer Jack Antonoff, and Bon Iver's Justin Vernon.
