Kate Middleton, allegedly, panicked at the sight of Prince William collapsing in front of Princess Diana’s grave.

According to Globe, Middleton witnessed Prince William as he was struggling to breathe. And she, allegedly, tried to put her hand on his shoulders to comfort him and make sure he won’t fall to the ground.

However, Middleton’s attempts to protect her husband failed because the Duke of Cambridge was overcome with emotion.

“William suddenly became emotional, overcome by the moment, and Kate rested a comforting arm on his shoulder. William was devastated because George, Charlotte [and Louis] can never know her,” the source said.

Following the shocking incident, Middleton, allegedly, called security on her cell phone. And a royal protection officer immediately came to Prince William’s rescue.

“Only Kate’s pleas that he see a doctor right away convinced him to go to a private hospital nearby,” the source said.

According to the insider, Prince William was advised to stay at the hospital overnight and Middleton was with him the entire time.

“Kate slept in a room next to her husband. They left very early the next day and were driven back to their country home, Anmer Hall 80 miles away,” the source said.

Following the incident, Prince William, allegedly, decided to take a break from his royal duties so that he could focus on his health and his family.

The Duke of Cambridge is also, allegedly, stressing over his future role as king. As such, he decided to take a break now because he knows he can’t rest when he is crowned soon.

Rumors about Prince William’s health have been rife in recent years. National Enquirer previously claimed that the Duke of Cambridge is going blind.

“The palace is desperately trying to keep William’s health struggle secret, but he let the cat out of the bag himself. He publicly admitted his vision is failing – then tried to downplay it, joking it made it easier for him to conquer the stage fright because the audience is ‘just a blur.’ But behind palace walls, I’m told he’s terrified of going blind,” the source said.

Prince William previously said that he has poor eyesight but this has worked to his favor. After all, he doesn’t get nervous when he talks in front of big crowds because he cannot see them.

However, Prince William never said that he’s going blind or that there are fears that he could lose his eyesight one day.
