Rihanna, 32, shared the sunlight spot with A$AP Rocky and Lil Nas X on the new Fenty Skin video!
On July 15 (Wednesday), the "Umbrella" hit singer announced the launch of Fenty Skin, Rihanna's new skincare line. She also shared a video with various models and American rappers A$AP Rocky and Lil Nas X. The original video lasted for one minute, where one can see A$AP Rocky and Lil Nas X enjoying the sun's heat vibe alongside a "diverse range of models," NME reported.
The three stars drew the viewer's attention by showing off their natural beauty that supports Fenty Skin's tag "The new culture of beauty." The said slogan appears in the pre-conclusion part of the video.
The Barbados-born superstar fans have been patiently waiting for their idol to launch her personalized skincare line, but the wait is almost over!
Rihanna took over her social media accounts to give prominence to Fenty Skin's launch details and a video of the singer applying the Fenty Skin products on her bare face.
The Oceans 8 star could be seen in the video pumping out the cleanser into her bare hands in a separate video which she uploaded on Youtube and Instagram. She also introduced the appearance of the toner as she applied it in a minimal motion. The last product she used is the light-colored moisturizer that she applied to her cheeks and nose area.
The newly released Fenty Skin video didn't specify the full list of products but three of which were seen in several video shots: a pH balancing toner named Fat Water, a cleanser, and a moisturizer. According to Hollywood Life, Rihanna applied for legal trademark ownership for Fenty Skin that enumerated five product titles: Fat Water, Buff Ryder, Flash Nap, Hydra Vizor, and Instant Reset. However, none of these is confirmed yet by Rihanna or Fenty Skin.
Fenty Skin is for everyone
The Savage X Fenty creator, Rihanna herself, confirmed that Fenty Skin is for everyone. She responded to a RiRi fan's tweet about the matter. "Whoever told you skincare has a gender, LIED to you!" Rihanna wrote.
Well, that explains A$AP Rocky and Lil Nas X's appearance in the new Fenty Skin video.
Fenty Skin's launch comes after Rihanna owned her spot in the cosmetics industry with her Fenty Beauty launch in September 2017. Since then, Rihanna focused more on her business ventures and temporarily left the music scene. Fenty Skin is the first line of cosmetics to offer 40 different shades of foundation (Pro Filt'R Foundation), which was later developed and expanded to 50.
