A couple of weeks ago, Kanye West held his first rally in Charleston, South Carolina after shocking the public by announcing his 2020 presidential bid. On July 19, the rapper addressed a small crowd of his fans at the Exquis Event Center, where he had arrived donning a bulletproof vest and a new hairdo that integrated 2020.

During the speech, that went on for a little over an hour, the controversy-plagued artist made some bizarre and questionable comments, including one that accused Harriet Tubman of not actually freeing the slaves, but making them work for other white people instead.

The event turned into a Q&A session with fans. During the event, West opened up about his views on Planned Parenthood and abortion and suddenly began to cry after revealing personal experiences that involved her mother Donda West, and his wife Kim Kardashian West, who gave birth to their daughter North in 2013 before they tied the wedding knot in 2014, PEOPLE reported.

Recalling that moment when Kim found out that she was pregnant, West alludes to one of the Ten Commandments, "Thou shalt not kill." He said Kim called out to him screaming and crying, while he was just thinking because he was a rapper at the time and had different girlfriends. Although he initially expressed happiness when Kim said she was pregnant, Kanye's next was "Uh oh," the 46-year-old singer said.

For several months, West said, they thought about not having the child. Recalling that Kim had the pills in her hand, West said he had a revelation from God to keep the child when he was sitting in a Paris apartment. He was sitting in the apartment where Kim was robbed, having his laptop up with all his creatives ideas, shoes, and even next song cover when the screen went black and white, West said.

West said God told him if he messed with his vision, he would mess with his. Immediately after the vision, he called his wife and told her they will have the baby. Noting that Kim stood up to protect her child, West asked the crowd if they knew who else protected a child 43 years ago and began to sob uncontrollably.

West revealed that his dad wanted to abort him, but his mother Donda West saved his life. He then reflected on his own family with Kim, with whom he has sons Psalm, 1, and Saint, 4, and a 2-year-old daughter Chicago, West screamed that he almost killed his daughter and yelled that he loved his daughter.
