Did the late Rob Kardashian Sr have an inkling that his daughter Kim will actually be pursuing law one day? Even though Kim's father died a long time ago, he was able to talk to his daughter about the law.

Fans of the reality TV star were quite surprised when she made a statement last year that she has decided to be a lawyer. But for those who knew who her father was, they would not say this is not surprising. Kim's father is none other than Robert George Kardashian, who gained national recognition when he represented OJ Simpson in his murder trial.

Now Celebrity Insider reports that before he died in 2003, Kim and his father were able to talk and she claims her father would be thrilled that she is following his footsteps. After all, she actually loved to go through her father's books when she was young.

She did say that her father was honest with her about all the stress she might experience if she were to pursue law. Even though she was planning to take up political science, because of what her father said, she decided to take up communications instead.

But years later, she has decided that she really wants to be a lawyer. Her journey toward becoming one will be the subject of a new documentary entitled 'Kim Kardashian West: The Justice Project.'

It will detail not only her journey through law school but also her advocacies when it comes to justice. She aims to help people who were wrongly accused and sentenced.

Kim has a different way of pursuing her degree. What she does is take part in an apprenticeship program that takes about 18 hours weekly. The New York Times says that she plans to actually take the baby bar this year.

Aside from starring in the reality tv show 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' along with her family and friends, Kim is also busy with her activism.

She is even able to appeal to the President of the United States regarding the release of Alice Marie Johnson, a grandmother who was serving a life sentence for a non-violent drug charge. Of course, the ease with which she was able to get an audience with the president may be due to the fact that she was good friends with Ivanka Trump.

Nevertheless, it looks like Kim is not stopping her advocacies anytime soon.
