Troye Sivan Introduces 'In A Dream' EP, Pre-Releases Single 'Easy'

Golden Globe nominee Troye Sivan, is not just a face of Pride, but also a versatile singer who uses ocean floor depth of feeling in making good music.

Finally, over two years of waiting, Troye Sivan unveiled his upcoming Extended Play titled ‘In A Dream’ that is set to arrive on August 21 under Capitol Records label. In company with Sivan’s announcement, the 25-year-old singer put on the show for the Extended Play’s single ‘Easy’.

As per Pitchfork, Sivan’s upcoming Extended Play is his first release since his 2018 ‘Bloom’ album. ‘Easy’ is going to be Sivan’s second single release for this year, coming after the launch of ‘Take Yourself Home’ in April, which Sivan revealed that the track is planned to be released beforehand.

In a statement by the Australian singer, his upcoming Extended Play will feature songs that share the “rollercoaster” moments of his life. Sivan also added that he feels a little bit nostalgic whenever he tries to revisit the song’s history; however, being able to share the music to the fans and to the world brings him so much excitement and pride.

“Take me back to the basics and the simple life / Tell me all of the things that make you feel at ease,” part of the song lyrics. As such, Rolling Stone, Sivan’s newest single ‘Easy’ is a song that can be used to acknowledge the gap between two people that is in love. The song revolves around the singer’s failing relationship in the past and how he pleads for his beloved to stay, instead of letting go.

The announcement of Sivan on July 15 did not come as a shock though, as Sivan already revealed last week about his release. On Instagram, Sivan has been hinting posting several video clips of him tagging along with the song. As per Billboard, the video clips are excerpts from the track's official music video. The music video premiere will be on Thursday (July 16) at 7 A.M. PT.

Sivan’s forthcoming Extended Play will feature a total of six tracks: 4 brand new tracks and 2 pre-released singles. The ‘In A Dream’ Tracklist includes ‘Easy’, ‘Take Yourself Home’, ‘Rager Teenager!’, ‘Could Cry Just Thinking About You’, and ‘Stud’.

In the meantime, fans can listen to Troye Sivan’s newly released ‘In A Dream’ single entitled ‘Easy’.

Sivan was seen in multiple events since the year began, including performing his remote version of ‘Take Yourself Home’ track with a live band. In the past, Sivan has released two albums and has collaborated with artist Ariana Grande, Lauv, and Charli XCX.
