Tamar Braxton, 43, took on Twitter in expressing her dissatisfaction towards salary equitability within reality television competitors show. On a late Monday evening (July 13), the American songstress responded to a fan’s tweet about the unjust share of pay to the ‘Braxton Family Values’ family reality show.
In a Twitter user that names Georgia Brown Boy, the fan wrote how he wishes for the said show by the Braxton’s to be under a ‘black owned network’, then tagging various television networks like OWNTV, bouncetv, BET, and tvonetv. Hashtags #PayThemTheirWorth and #PayThemTheirRespect concludes the fan’s tweet.
Tamar retweeted the fan’s tweet, pointing out that they are not uprightly paid compared to what the Kardashians are receiving for their all-time running show, ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’.
“Are we going to talk about pay…,” Tamar wrote on her response. Even having to be the own show’s theme song writer, being on Netflix, and after a decade of airing, the only question that pops up in Tamar’s mind is, “where is the coin?”
The singer then revealed that they receive seventy-five percent less than the Kardashians, leading for her to question why the show has no villains.
Are we going to talk about pay.... I 100 percent wrote the theme song... where is the coin... our show is on Netflix.... where is the coin... 10 years on The air... we make 75 percent LESS than the kardashians. How come there are no villains on that show https://t.co/0dIueRQ2Dx

Indeed, family reality television drama came to life in between Braxton’s tweet.
Per Hollywood Life, one Twitter user contradicts the songstress’ statement, saying that the ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ show has villains. Part of the comment reads, “D--- leave them PPL alone.”
On top of all the Twitter drama, numerous fans of the singer and of the ‘Braxton Family Values’ reality television showed their support by sending Tamar heart-touching messages.
Twitter user @C29Amy wrote, “Yess girl preach it! … I agree with you.”
Another fan commented, “Sending love to you and yours…”
The ladies from the ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ is yet to comment about the matter.
For newbies, Tamar Estine Braxton is one of the ‘The Braxtons’ founding member – an R&B all-girl ensemble consists of Tamar and her sisters. However, the band’s stunt did not quite lasted. Shortly from their 1996 debut, the group decided to part ways, leading for Tamar to sign an exclusive contract under DreamWorks Records. Tamar went on releasing her first self-titled album but was eventually relinquished by the record due to its unsatisfactory performance.
Meanwhile, the ‘Braxton Family Values’ family reality series successfully aired in We Tv for six seasons and a total of 142 episodes, The Blast reported.
Tamar, on the other hand, is currently working with celebrity hairstylist Jonny Wright in VH1’s ‘To Catch A Beautician’ competition series. The show airs every Monday at 10 P.M.
