Haruichi Furudate’s iconic manga series is coming to an end. The final chapter of Haikyuu!! will consist of 28 pages.

The last chapter of the manga will be out in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine’s Issue #32.  Haikyuu!! the manga started its finale arc on Oct. 28, 2019, Anime News Network reported.

In the penultimate chapter of Haikyuu!! manga, the match between MSBY Black Jackals and Schweiden Adlers continues. The chapter opens with Hinata’s spectacular short that shocks the Adlers.

After scoring the point against the opponent team, Hinata is on a high. Hinata as a player has come a long way as the manga progressed.

Meanwhile, MSBY Black Jackals win the match against Schweiden Adlers. Kageyama tells Hinata that he has made and Hinata knows that he has. He confesses to Kageyama that he has 1096 wins and 1100 losses. Hinata adds that he is keeping a count.

However, this is not the last game as the season has just started.

After the match, Hinata meets Tetsuro Kuroo, who represents the Japan Volleyball Association Sports Promotion Division. Kuroo offers him to be a part of a video that he is making in collaboration with Kodzuken.

Toward the end of the chapter, it shows the Tokyo 2020 Olympics volleyball, but another panel shows the year 2021 with a banner – “We overcame difficulties and stand here.” Haikyuu!! Chapter 401 is titled Promises.

The Weekly Shonen Jump’s Issue #32 has revealed that Haikyuu!! Season 4 part 2 episodes will air from October 2020. The new episodes will be out on TBS, MBS and BS-TBS.

The new episodes were supposed to premiere in July, however, due to the coronavirus pandemic, it is delayed.

The cast of Haikyuu!! Season 4 includes Ayumu Murase as Shoyo Hinata, Kaito Ishikawa as Tobio Kageyama, Hiroshi Kamiya as Ittetsu Takeda, Hisao Egawa as Keishin Ukai, Hideaki Kabumoto as Osamu Miya, Jun Kasama as Aran Ojiro, Kaori Nazuka as Kiyoko Shimizu, Kouki Uchiyama as Kei Tsukishima, Mamoru Miyano as Atsumu Miya, Masayuki Shouji as Kanji Koganegawa, Ryota Ohsaka as Keiji Akaashi, Toshiki Masuda as Chikara Ennoshita and Yuichi Nakamura as Tetsuro Kuroo.

Haikyuu!! Chapter 402 is scheduled to release on Sunday, July 19, 2020. The digital version of the final chapter will be out on Viz and Manga Plus. Meanwhile, the print version will hit the stands on Monday, July 20.
