Bebe Rexha addresses her Rexhars on the fandom’s concern to Rexha’s lack of music releases. The fans have been very patient but at the same time demanding for the singer to back her 2018 "Expectations" album with another one. However, Rexha then set the reel-deal of the matter.

On Thursday (July 9), Rexha revealed that her upcoming album will be delayed a little much longer than expected. Per Rexha, she and her team feel the fans’ frustration in wanting to hear new music, but, Rexha pointed out that this is not the perfect time to release an album, pertaining to the global crisis caused by COVID-19. Moreover, Rexha re-assured the fans of her album release when “the world is in a better place”. “We are just waiting for when the time feels right,” Rexha said, then promising that the new album will be worth the wait,

Rexha, 30, best describes her second album as the “best project” she have ever done and the album as her “absolute favorite”. Per Radio Topi, Rexha’s new album will be following the success of her 2018 album ‘Expectations’, which earned a four-star review from NME.com, saying “…one capable of putting her own stamp on current pop sounds.” NME defines Rexha as one of music industry’s most underrates singer and songwriter.

After releasing her first album, Rexha generously shared and dropped few singles, entitled "Not 20 Anymore," and "Last Hurrah," also said to be part of her expected second album [Billboard].

Rexha also handed out her voice in Disney’s "Maleficent: Mistress of Evil" soundtrack titled "You Can’t Stop the Girl." She also graced Jax Jone’s "Harder."

In 2019, Rexha disclosed her “fearful’ life living with a bipolar disorder. In an exclusive interview with Self Magazine, the 30-year-old singer narrated how her bipolar disorder causes her to indulge in manic episodes that last for a few days and depressive episodes that cool off in at least two weeks.

Rexha was very open about her personal struggle to her fans, which she revealed about her bipolar disorder on Twitter In April 2020. The singer believes that opening up to other people and to her fans will pave way for the people who are suffering the same struggle see her as an inspiration in overcoming the dark times.
