Kanye West doesn't shy away from speaking his mind, and he proved that during an interview, published on July 8. The rapper lived up to his reputation and without any sort of hesitation admitted that he no supports Donald Trump, and Joe Biden lacks the special" factor. Aside from that, Yeezy said he plans to make his foray in politics this year.
In his recently published interview with Forbes magazine, the rapper admitted that he stopped supporting Donald Trump after learning that he hid in the bunker during protests outside the White House last month. The president continues to deny the claim, calling it a fake report.
Forbes staff member and the author of the aforesaid article Randall Lane wrote that West had some strong criticism for Joe Biden, and touted himself as a Republican. Noting that Trump could be a part of his way, West presented a list of people he thought were special.
West's list of special people comprised, former President Barack Obama, Donald Trump, and even himself. However, the 43-year-old entrepreneur placed Biden under the "not special" category on his list. He told the magazine that he is pro-life, pro-school prayer, who doesn't support the death penalty and plans to run as an Independent.
During the interview, he mentioned the Birthday Party, explaining that when they win, it is everybody's birthday. Aside from that, he told the magazine that his campaign slogan will be "YES." According to a Fox Business report, West has surprisingly not taken any required steps such as officially registering as a candidate, or creating a campaign committee for a run for office.
West has only 30 days to register before the filling process in several states come to an end. The founder of the American record label GOOD Music, West said one of the issues that he wants to put an end to, is police brutality, adding that he will manage the White House like the fictional country Wakanda appearing in Marvel Comics.
West said he is pro-China, adding that the coronavirus pandemic isn't the Chinese government's fault. Interestingly, the rapper recently revealed that he contracted the coronavirus in Feb. , during an interview with Forbes. If he gets elected as the president, West says he will ensure that the NBA opens from Nigeria to Nanchang, giving the world a chance to witness the greatest athletes play.
Moreover, West said he has already decided that Michelle Tidball would be his vice-presidential candidate. Forbes has touted Tidball as an obscure preacher from Wyoming.
