Prince William is, allegedly, convincing Prince Charles to stop supporting Prince Harry and Meghan Markle financially since they’re no longer working members of the royal family.

According to Woman’s Day, the Duke of Cambridge became concerned with his father’s expenses after learning that the chunk of his income goes to the Sussexes.

Since Prince William isn’t on the best terms with Prince Harry and Markle, he allegedly advised Prince Charles to stop funding the royal couple’s lavish lifestyle.

On top of this, the royal family is also allegedly having money problems due to the coronavirus pandemic. And the insiders claimed that Prince Charles needs to implement some changes when it comes to his finances.

“William, who obviously isn’t on the greatest terms with the Sussexes right now, was gobsmacked to find out how much their lifestyle is costing his dad. He thinks that money could be better spent elsewhere and has sat down with Charles to crunch the numbers in what royal courtiers are calling a summit of high importance,” the source said.

The insider also said that Prince Charles and Prince William are still taking offense with Markle for being headstrong. As such, they feel that the answer to the royal family’s money woes is for Prince Charles to cut off the cash flow for the Sussexes.

“They’re banking, so to speak, that they’ll convince Harry to return to them. And they’ll welcome him and Archie with open arms. Having Harry back in England using federal resources available to working members of the family is much more cost-effective for Charles than having him mooching around Los Angeles,” the source said.

Other than their issues with money, Queen Elizabeth is also allegedly upset with Prince Harry and Markle talking about political issues. However, it is important to note that the Sussexes are no longer working for the royal family.

“The queen is considering asking them to step down as president and vice president of her Commonwealth Trust. They’re well aware they can’t be the face of one of her charities while making their political beliefs known so blatantly. Charles is finding it harder and harder to justify funding their lives. And really, all he wants is his youngest son to return home,” the source said.

However, one should take the claims made by the tabloid with a grain of salt. Prince Charles hasn’t said anything about stopping his funding for Prince Harry and Markle’s expenses.

It is also unlikely for the royal family to be asking Prince Harry to return to the United Kingdom with Archie and leave Markle behind in Los Angeles.
