Angelina Jolie, previously, confirmed that her top priority is her family, most especially her six children.
During an interview with Vanity Fair, the mom of six said that she is willing to give up acting. Jolie also said that she doesn’t think she’ll do her craft much longer because she has a happy home.
“We will do films for the next years, then we’ll do something else. We want to make sure we can give everybody a special time. We want to make sure we don’t build a family so big that we don’t have absolutely enough time to raise each really well,” Jolie said.
Six years after the actress’ interview, she announced her divorce from Pitt. A year later, Pitt opened up about the heartbreaking end of his two-year marriage during an interview with GQ.
Back then, the Ad Astra actor revealed that he just started therapy. Pitt also said that he went through two therapists to get the one that’s right for him.
Pitt’s drinking was one of the reasons behind his split from Jolie.
The Once Upon A Time In Hollywood actor also said that he was on his back and chained to a system when Child Services was called. But he and Jolie were able to sort things out afterward.
Pitt said that he and his ex-wife are doing their best since they know that no one would win in court. The actor said that Jolie agreed with him to not take their issues to court and to just settle things amicably and privately.
Last month, Jolie spoke with Vogue after her divorce from Pitt. The actress said that separating from the actor was the right thing to do.
The Maleficent: Mistress of Evil actress also said that she decided to end her marriage for the wellbeing of her family. However, New Idea tried to paint Jolie as the bad guy again by saying that she cannot stop making snide comments about Pitt.
However, what Jolie simply said was based on what she thinks is right for her family. And the actress didn’t throw shade at Pitt during the interview.
According to Us Weekly, Pitt and Jolie’s relationship has become more cordial in recent months. And other tabloids have been saying that they reunited for Shiloh’s 14th birthday.
However, one should take these claims with a grain of salt because there hasn’t been any proof that Pitt and Jolie have been talking or hanging out.
