Lady Gaga is, allegedly, fighting with Jennifer Lawrence to star in a new movie opposite Bradley Cooper.
Last year, Globe claimed that Lady Gaga and Lawrence were both vying for the lead role in Nightmare Alley. An unnamed source said that the A-listers expressed their interest in the project after learning that Cooper will headline the film.
However, an entire year has passed and Gaga and Lawrence have not been cast in the movie. In fact, there hasn’t been any clear indication that they even auditioned for the role.
Cate Blanchett will be playing Cooper’s co-star in the movie. However, details about the production have yet to be released since it was halted due to the coronavirus pandemic.
According to Gossip Cop, the same tabloid is known for publishing fabricated stories about the “Poker Face” singer and Cooper. In March, they claimed that the A Star Is Born co-stars were all over each other at the Oscars.
An unnamed source claimed that Gaga and Cooper couldn’t get enough of each other at the awards show. And Cooper’s then-partner, Irina Shayk was allegedly seen sulking in the background.
In May, the same tabloid claimed that Gaga is pregnant with her boyfriend Michael Polansky’s baby. But until today, the “Shallow” singer has not confirmed her alleged pregnancy.
As such, one should take the claims made by the tabloid with a grain of salt. And it is also important to note that they aren’t the only tabloid that has been spreading fake stories about the singer and Cooper.
Last year, Star claimed that Gaga had a shocking conversation with Shayk and someone overheard the singer asking the model a question.
“Gaga said, ‘I love Bradley so much! I want a little part of him to be with me forever! Can I tattoo his name on my butt?’ Irina made a face of total disgust and turned away,” the unnamed source said.
The insider also said that Shayk felt that Cooper neglected her, their daughter, and their family while he was busy filming A Star Is Born.
“Irina can’t wait until awards season is over. She never wants to see Lady Gaga again,” the source said.
Shortly after the awards season, Cooper and Shayk called it quits. But exes continue to co-parent their daughter.
