JoJo Fletcher’s hotly-anticipated, final rose pick on season 12 of The Bachelorette turned out to be an experience that made fans feel excited and sad at the same time as the real estate developer geared up to choose between Jordan Rodgers and Robby Hayes. The big decision was filmed in 2016.
Much to the delight of the show's fans, these unforgettable moments will be relived when The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons — Ever airs Fletcher’s experience in a compressed 3-hour special. After telling Fletcher that he loved her, Bachelor star Ben Higgins proposed to Lauren Bushnell, but Fletcher was given another chance at love when she was picked as The Bachelorette Season 12 lead.
The 2016 season was teeming with serious drama, and it also introduced the world to Bachelor Nation stars such as Luke Pell, Robby Hayes, and Wells Adams. Those who didn't watch the season and aren't willing to wait to find out who did Fletcher end up with, and if they are still together, Showbiz CheatSheet recently published an article about what happened in the last few years.
During The Bachelorette Season 12 finale, Fletcher was confused about whether she wants to pick Hayes or Rodgers. After the two contestants met her family, Fletcher admitted she always wondered what if she picked Hayes over Rodgers, but if she gave her final rose to Rodgers and their relationship failed, she would regret not choosing Hayes.
Towards the end of an emotional Bachelorette episode, Fletcher decided to pick Rodgers over Hayes, and more importantly, she did it confidently. According to Parade, Fletcher is 29 years old at the moment and was born in 1990. She's the owner of JHF Realty Development LLC, which is a real estate development company located in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area.
Admitting that she loves him, Fletcher told Rodgers at the time that she was waiting with bated breath to tell him that she didn't want him to propose her until he knew she loves him too. After The Bachelorette went off the air, Fletcher said she thought Rodger will break her heart, adding that Robby would have been a safer choice. She decided to follow her heart and it paid off.
Even four years after The Bachelorette, Fletcher, and Rodgers are still together. They are engaged and were planning to tie the wedding knot this year, but their plans had to be postponed citing the ongoing pandemic. Fletcher announced this by sharing a post on Instagram.
