Meghan Markle and Prince Harry just signed a lucrative deal with Harry Walker Agency as the company’s two newest A-list speakers.
Following the announcement, royal editor Ingrid Seward told Mirror UK that there’s a major downside to the couple’s deal. Seward said that Prince Harry and Markle will be expected to spill details about the firm to justify their huge paycheck.
Seward that no one would want to hear the Duke and Duchess of Sussex talk about gender equality and the environment even though this is what they reportedly signed up for.
During their appearances as keynote speakers, Prince Harry and Markle will most likely touch on their personal experiences as former members of The Firm. The royal couple would also have to up their ante by sharing some stories about the royal family.
According to the publication, Prince Harry and Markle could rake in millions as they seek financial independence from the royal family. There are also reports claiming that the royal couple would offer their services as keynote speakers with huge corporations and community forums.
Other A-listers who have signed with Harry Walker Agency include Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, and Hillary Clinton.
Earlier this year, Prince Harry already served as a keynote speaker for JP Morgan. During his speech, the Duke of Sussex revealed that he has been in therapy for the past three years.
Even though Markle didn’t take the stage at the JP Morgan event, she was at the venue to show support to her husband. Other A-listers present include Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez.
And there are claims that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex sat with Lopez and Rodriguez at the event. There are also rumors suggesting that the couples went on a dinner date in Malibu.
According to New Idea, Prince Harry couldn’t stop talking about how wonderful Lopez was after having dinner with her, Rodriguez, and Markle in February.
An unnamed source told the tabloid that the Duke of Sussex drooled over the World of Dance judge and his wife is not happy.
As such, when Prince Harry asked Markle to organize a dinner with Lopez and Rodriguez at their house in Beverly Hills, the Duchess of Sussex didn’t immediately agree with her husband.
However, one should take the claims made by the tabloid with a grain of salt. Prince Harry doesn’t have a crush on Lopez.
