Actor Ansel Elgort is being canceled by Twitter after a serious allegation was launched against him. 

According to The Blast, a Twitter user named Gabby accused the 26-year-old actor of sexually assaulting her in 2014, when she was only 17 years old. Using the Twitter handle "ltsgabby", she claimed that she sent a message to Elgort's Snapchat account two days before her 17th birthday, telling him that she was a big fan of his.

He responded through a private message and actually gave her his private Snapchat. From there, it looks like they were able to have more conversations and they eventually met up. But her joy at meeting him turned into a nightmare when she claimed that he forced her to have sex with him. 

She claimed that it was her first time and it was painful for her and she was crying, but all he said was that she needed to be broke in. 

The said account that published has now been deleted. Her claims cannot be substantiated at the moment. Although her posts, when it was still public, included a picture with the actor and screenshots of their messages to each other in 2014.

Now many fans are asking whether the actor was actually in a relationship in 2014 when all these allegedly happened. Fans of the actor know that Elgort had been in a relationship with his high school sweetheart for eight years now. His girlfriend is Violetta Komyshan, who is a ballet dancer. 

They apparently met at LaGuardia High School of Music & Art. Violetta herself said they dated at the end of sophomore year.

But Showbiz Cheat Sheet reports that the two actually broke up sometime in 2014. This was during the time that Ansel's career has started booming. Two of his movies, Divergent and A Fault in Our Stars were released and they were a hit all over the world. During his alleged tryst with Gabby, there is a possibility that he may have been single at the time. 

But although they have been together for a long time, in an interview last year, he claimed that he was actually interested to have an open relationship. He claimed that he and his girlfriend have the understanding that he wanted to be free to fall in love with other people. 

As of now, Ansel has not responded to any of the allegations. His last posts on his social media accounts were a few weeks ago.
