Divulging details about her experience being a part of the hit reality show, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, actress Denise Richards explained why the show is on hiatus. Richards assured fans that the show will return with the full story of all the impending drama.

Much to the chagrin of RHOBH fans, last week the show did not air. The discontinuation comes at the time when the season 10 drama had started to build up. Earlier this week, Richards made her appearance on SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Show, where the Starship Troopers actress explained why the show is not releasing new episodes at the moment.

Aside from that, Richards said her second season on RHOBH is more tumultuous than her first. The former fashion model admitted that she made her debut in the first season as a very naive participant. Bent of being herself, Richards said she didn't want to play a character, otherwise, it would be deemed scripted.

Reemphasizing she just wanted to be herself in the show, Richards said she reacted to whatever happened in the show the way she normally would. Opening up about her first season experience, she recalled having a great time and getting to know all the other women.

Richards said the show allowed them to go to extravagant restaurants, and she had a lot of fun with the other ladies with whom she formed some great friendships. The 10th season, on the other hand, has been very different for her.

Although it has been a very different experience, Richards said she is happy that people are watching it. In the last episode, Richards and her husband Aaron Phypers are seen heading out of Kyle Richards' outdoor family barbecue, but details about their abrupt exit are still few and far between.

The threesome discussion was reportedly the reason behind their exit. Aside from that, Richards was also accused of mom-shaming. The show's huge fanbase is restlessly waiting for the reveal of Brandi Glanville's claim that she had an affair with Richards, which the actress' rep has denied to PEOPLE.

Previously surfaced reports suggest the actress left the show after her costars cross-questioned her about her alleged relationship. Richards said she didn't stop filming, and an insider also confirmed to PEOPLE that she didn't quit the reality series.

The show came to an end in Dec., and Richards missed a couple of parties towards the end. The 49-year-old television personality clarified that never stopped filming, adding that she might have filmed something on FaceTime for one of the parties. She didn't attend the other party, so she didn't stop filming.

In an interview on The Jess Cagle Show, Richards said the season wrapped up, and they had to do their confessionals and other things. Explaining why the show is on hiatus, she said it could be due to the coronavirus pandemic, which has pushed their plan to film confessionals to a later date.
