BLACKPINK’s Jisoo and actor An Bo-hyun have announced their breakup just two months after revealing their relationship to the public.

First, Jisoo’s agency, YG Entertainment, confirmed, "It's true that Jisoo and An Bo-hyun have separated."

Following this, a representative from An Bo-hyun's agency, FN Entertainment, also acknowledged to Star News, "It's true that An Bo-hyun and Jisoo have broken up."

However, both parties did not elaborate on the reason for their split. It was previously speculated that due to their hectic schedules, the two grew apart, leading to their breakup.

While celebrities typically have ambiguous dating rumors but definite breakup confirmations, Jisoo and An Bo-hyun exhibited the opposite pattern, garnering even more attention. Jisoo's side confirmed their separation at around 3 pm, shortly after the initial news broke. In contrast, An Bo-hyun's agency announced their split about three hours later, at around 6 pm.

During this time, fans and industry insiders speculated why An Bo-hyun hadn’t announced the breakup alongside Jisoo. There were speculations on whether there was a particular reason An Bo-hyun couldn't disclose the breakup. However, Star News confirmed that there was a delay in the communication process within An Bo-hyun's agency.

Did the public nature of their relationship pressure Jisoo and An Bo-hyun? Just two months after their respective agencies released statements saying, "We are getting to know each other with good feelings. We'd appreciate it if you could look upon An Bo-hyun and Jisoo with warm eyes," the couple has ended their relationship.

Despite their busy schedules, it was known that they often met at Jisoo's house, a luxury apartment complex located in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. In particular, An Bo-hyun was known to drive himself to Jisoo's house to spend time together, proving his affection. As the first BLACKPINK member to go public with a romance, all eyes were on whether Jisoo and An Bo-hyun would have a long-term relationship.

Jisoo, born in January 1995, is 28 years old. She debuted as a BLACKPINK member in 2016 and has also pursued an acting career, appearing in dramas like "Snow Flower." She begins filming for the movie "Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint" in December.

An Bo-hyun, born in May 1988, is 35 years old, seven years older than Jisoo. He debuted with the film "Hiya" in 2016 and has starred in dramas like "Please Take Care of My Current Life," "Yumi's Cells 2," "Military Prosecutor Doberman," and "My Name." He will appear in the film "No Ryang: Sea of Death," set to be released in December, and is also preparing for the premiere of "2 O’Clock Date."
