In 2015, Samantha Ware left New York for her first appearance on Glee. Being a long-time fan of the show, she was understandably excited to be a part of the hit series, which was in its concluding year,  as one of the new kids in season 6. Just after she completed shooting for her first musical number, Janelle Monae's "Tightrope," for the series' first episode, Ware revealed that she felt she was sidelined by Lea Michele.

From day one, Ware realized this as she tried to introduce herself, admitting that there was noting step-by-step about this realization, during an interview with Variety. As soon as Michele decided she didn't like her, Ware says it was evident, explaining that it all started after her first performance.

Michele gave her the silent treatment and a slew of other cues such as her weird passive-aggressiveness, making remarks under her breath, the stare-downs, and the looks that suggested she didn't like her. Ware even claims that the Les Miserables actress even threatened her job in the presence of dancers, extras, and the cast.

Ware claims she had no idea she could file a complaint so she never officially reported Michele's alleged behavior to the studio or the network, adding that Michele's topliner behavior wasn't hidden from those present on the set. Given that her behavior wasn't anything new, Ware says she though her case didn't seem like a big deal.

She recalled the first day she opened up about Michele's behavior, adding that no one did anything about it and simply shrugged it off as if admitting, that's how she is. Since no one was stopping these things, Ware said the environment was facilitating this abuse. The Margot vs. Lily actress came into the limelight last week when she called out Michele in a tweet that instantly went viral.

Ware reminded Michele she made her first TV gig a living hell, adding that she will never forget it. She wrote, Michele made rude comments about and a myriad of other traumatic microaggressions that created a doubt in her mind about having a career in Hollywood.

This comes after Michele tweeted about George Floyd, writing that the 46-year-old black man didn't deserve this. Using hashtag #BlackLivesMatter in her tweet, Michele pointed out Floyd wasn't the only one from the minority community to be treated that way and it is time to put an end to this.
