In a surprising revelation, Alina Kabaeva, the long-rumored mistress of Russian President Vladimir Putin, has been accused of having an affair with one of her own security guards. This development comes amidst Putin's ongoing struggle with the war against Ukraine.
Kabaeva, a former Olympic gymnast, has reportedly been involved with one of her bodyguards for some time. This information was disclosed by the anti-Putin Telegram channel General SVR, which has been closely following the personal life of the Russian leader. The channel reported that Putin was aware of the affair but chose not to intervene or inquire further into the matter.
The General SVR channel stated, "[Putin] did not try to find out the details and the name of Alina’s new favorite." It further added, "Kabaeva has three children from Putin, but she has an affair with a security guard. [Putin] did not even ask with whom his beloved was cheating."
The 40-year-old Kabaeva, who was first linked to Putin in April 2018, disappeared after Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. She was believed to have fled to Switzerland, where she and Putin reportedly own a home. Despite the rumors, Putin has consistently denied any romantic involvement with Kabaeva. He once stated, "There is a private life in which no one should interfere. I've always had a low opinion of those with snotty noses and erotic fantasies who delve into the lives of others."
Rumors have also circulated that Kabaeva and Putin share three children together, and that Kabaeva became pregnant again in May 2022. The General SVR reported last year, "Yesterday Putin learned that his long-term cohabitant and mother of his children, Alina Kabaeva, was pregnant for another, or rather, apparently, an extraordinary time."
Earlier this month, Kabaeva made headlines when she allegedly leaked a series of embarrassing photos of Yevgeny Prigozhin, Putin’s exiled mercenary chief. The photos, which showed Prigozhin in various disguises, were reportedly obtained during a police raid on the Wagner chief’s St. Petersburg home following a failed coup in Moscow on June 24. The images were subsequently leaked to a pro-Kremlin media outlet owned by Kabaeva.
This recent development adds a new layer to the ongoing drama surrounding Putin's personal life, further complicating the narrative of one of the world's most powerful and enigmatic leaders.
