In an exclusive revelation, RadarOnline.com has reported that Kanye West's 2020 presidential campaign is under scrutiny for alleged financial irregularities. The campaign's executive officers have reportedly discovered evidence of "fraud and malfeasance" in the campaign's spending.
Bruce Fein, the committee's attorney, and Devin White, the treasurer, have expressed their shock at the state of the campaign's finances. "My God, it looked like a crime scene!" Fein exclaimed. The duo is now striving to prevent the campaign manager, Milo Yiannopoulos, from potentially triggering a criminal investigation by the FBI.
The campaign, which was primarily funded by Kanye West, reportedly spent about $13.5 million. However, the committee only possesses invoices with minimal descriptions of the work done to justify these massive expenditures. One vendor charged the campaign $1.3 million for consulting work, but the nature of the work remains unclear.
White's investigation suggests that the campaign's funds were allegedly used as a personal piggybank by some campaign workers and vendors. "There appears to be fraud and malfeasance taking place in the campaign and at this point, Bruce Fein and I believe that from inception this was a strawman created for other purposes versus a bonafide effort to run for president," White told RadarOnline.com.
The campaign's lack of a management team or governance structure has led to it being described as a "headless horseman." White has already contacted the Federal Election Commission (FEC) to report the irregularities.
One of the invoices provided to RadarOnline.com by White shows a December 1, 2020, invoice filed by Yiannopoulos seeking $116,000 for "Consultancy- 2020 campaign wrap up." Fein expressed disbelief at the amount, comparing Yiannopoulos's value to that of Babe Ruth in his prime.
Despite the campaign's expenditure of $7.5 million for 'ballot access,' Kanye only received about 60,000 votes, which equates to roughly $243 per vote. In contrast, the expenditures of former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden amounted to approximately $25 or $26 per vote.
The committee's attorney, Marks, has confirmed that Yiannopoulos’ immigration status and campaign spending are currently "under investigation" by his office. However, Yiannopoulos has not responded to repeated email and telephone messages.
