Recent photos show that Ben Affleck's kids seem to be enjoying spending time with their father's girlfriend, actress Ana De Armas.

The question on many people's minds is whether the Academy Award Winning director actually asked permission from his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner before he introduced De Armas to his three kids. Some rumors are saying that he blindsided the actress and did not tell Jen but this could be farther from the truth.

According to Celebrity Insider, the two definitely talked before Ben made the introductions. Despite only dating for a few months, it seems that Ben is really invested in the relationship and decided that it was high time for his beloved children to meet his girlfriend.

The two were introduced to each other after working together on the movie Deep Water, which will be released later this year. Early this year, they were spotted vacationing together in Cuba and things just went on smoothly from there.

Despite being a new couple, they apparently decided to quarantine together and it looks to be doing wonders for their relationship. Last month, 31-year-old Armas was finally photographed together with all of Ben's children, taking a walk in Ben's neighborhood.

Insiders say that Ana really loves children and has wanted to meet Ben's kids. And based on recent photos, it looks like the children are also enjoying their time with their dad's new partner. The Daily Mail reports that the actress was caught having a fun time with Samuel and Seraphina at Ben's home. They had with them a cut out of Ana and they seem to be joking around with each other.

As for his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, it seems that the actress feels no bitterness that her former husband has moved on and is romantically linked with someone else. Despite being separated, the two have tried their very best to co-parent their kids, and ultimately, the former couple just wants each other to be happy.

Meanwhile, aside from being photographed with his new girlfriend, Ben has also been spending time using his platform for the Black Lives Matter movement. Not only does he post about it on social media, but he even took time to pay respects to one of the recent victims of police brutality.

He and his best friend Matt Damon brought their children to a makeshift memorial in LA and offered some flowers to commemorate what would have been the 27th birthday of Taylor.
