Acclaimed actor George Clooney seems to be twiddling his thumbs in the absence of his old, party-filled lifestyle, insiders have confided to GLOBE. The stringent regulations set by his wife, Amal Clooney, has left the 62-year-old's old companions reminiscing about the party-loving Clooney they once knew.

“Amal’s presence is omnipresent even on his infrequent outings. She ensures he maintains a strict demeanor and has practically ruled out any frivolity,” reveals an insider.

After wrapping up "Wolves" with close friend Brad Pitt, 59, earlier this year, Clooney's calendar has been replete with sparkling charity events.

“George is merely floating from one gathering to another. His sedentary domestic life is driving him up the wall,” divulges the source. “Amal's commandments include a strict cap on his nightly alcohol consumption, and his motorcycle escapades are a thing of the past.”

The motorcycle riding ban likely stems from the minor injuries Clooney sustained after crashing into a Mercedes in Sardinia in 2018.

However, Clooney seems to be compliant with Amal's rules, the insider shares. “When his friends like Rande Gerber suggest a guys' night, George is likely to decline. Instead, his evenings are spent with Amal and their children.” The Clooneys are parents to six-year-old twins, Ella and Alexander.

“George is impatiently awaiting another film project,” the insider continues. “While he wouldn’t swap his family for anything, he feels invigorated and alive when he’s on a film set!”

O’Donnell Uncovers the Crux of DeGeneres Feud

Former talk show host Rosie O’Donnell has finally shed light on her long-standing fallout with comedian Ellen DeGeneres, a dispute that has kept her from communicating with DeGeneres for over two decades.

Starting their careers as stand-up comedians around the same time, O'Donnell, who is also openly gay, recalls that Ellen publicly acknowledged her sexuality on a 1996 episode of "The Rosie O’Donnell Show". However, a couple of years later, she alleges DeGeneres made disparaging remarks about her on Larry King’s CNN talk show.

O’Donnell, 61, stated, “We’ve had our unusual moments. I'm unsure whether it's jealousy, rivalry, or the hurtful comment she once made about me."

When King questioned DeGeneres about the abrupt downfall of O'Donnell's show following her coming out, Ellen allegedly retorted, "I don’t know Rosie. We’re not friends."

This statement left O'Donnell dumbstruck as she shared, “I was watching TV in bed with my wife, and I exclaimed, ‘Did she just say that?’ It seemed outrageous to deny knowing someone whose newborns I've held in my arms."

Recently, DeGeneres, 65, reached out to O’Donnell, asking about her well-being and discussing her post-show life. When O’Donnell brought up the incident on King’s show, DeGeneres apologized, stating she didn't recall the incident.

However, O’Donnell remains skeptical, “I've known her for many years. I can’t trust this person to be a part of my life.”
