Hunter Biden, known for his scandal-tinted reputation, has been linked to the ultra-exclusive Los Angeles sex club, Snctm, following revelations made by the club's founder, Damon Lawner. The founder claimed he revoked Hunter's membership due to inappropriate behavior, according to RadarOnline.com.
Established by Lawner in 2013, Snctm, or "sanctum", offers an exclusive sex-themed retreat to a select circle of high-profile patrons. A recent turn of events led to Lawner himself being banned from the club he founded, following his audacious Instagram post about Hunter.
The Los Angeles Times detailed Lawner's deleted Instagram post in their Tuesday report. In his post, Lawner alleged that Hunter exhibited such distasteful behavior during his inaugural visit that he felt compelled to cancel his membership.
In his now-deleted post, Lawner wrote, "Hunter was a member at Snctm and I canceled his membership after 1 party because he’s a scumbag."
Responding to the controversy, a representative for Snctm, which Lawner divested for $1 million in 2019, released a statement addressing Lawner's online accusations. The statement underlined the club's commitment to upholding its members' privacy.
The spokesperson for the elite club said, "Snctm, as a private members club, prioritizes the safety and privacy of our esteemed members above all. Consequently, we neither confirm nor deny the identities of our attendees."
The club was unambiguous in its response to Lawner's transgression, stating that any breach of conduct will result in a lifetime ban. "Mr. Lawner’s membership has been revoked, effective immediately," the statement read.
Snctm's exclusive access comes at a high price, with the top-tier membership costing $75,000 annually. Benefits include unrestricted access to all parties, private rooms, and a silver necklace with a lion pendant.
In his allegations, Lawner implied that the club's clientele spanned from high-achieving business individuals to Grammy Award-winning artists.
Though Snctm remained tight-lipped about its membership status, Hunter's past filled with drug-related controversies hardly bolstered his image.
In recent developments, Hunter admitted guilt to two federal tax charges this week, a move that critics from the Republican camp labeled a "sweetheart" plea deal.
