As girl group BLACKPINK's Jennie becomes entangled in dating rumors, her management agency remains silent. This response contrasts sharply with their reaction when dating speculations involving Rosé emerged.
Recently, a video circulated on online communities showing a man and woman, appearing to be V and Jennie, on a date along the Seine River in Paris.
The video depicts the two, who bear a striking resemblance to Jennie and V, holding hands without covering their faces. They are enjoying their date, seemingly unaffected by the gaze of onlookers.
In reality, both Jennie and V have traveled to Paris due to their schedules. Jennie is there for the upcoming 76th Cannes Film Festival taking place on the 22nd, while V departed on the 15th to participate in a brand photo shoot and event in France.
Despite such dating rumors, Jennie's agency, YG Entertainment, has not given any statement. V's management has also remained unresponsive.
This isn't the first time V and Jennie have faced dating speculations. In May of last year, there were eyewitness accounts of them going for a drive in Jeju Island, and in August, private photos were leaked raising suspicions of their relationship. Both times, the agencies remained silent about the dating rumors.
BLACKPINK's agency, YG, has consistently kept quiet about such issues, but there have been exceptions. They vehemently denied the dating rumors between member Rosé and actor Kang Dong-won that erupted on the 17th of last month.
The dating rumors between Rosé and Kang Dong-won began with a group photo taken at an event hosted by a fashion industry worker. The photo, revealed by former creative director of a luxury brand Riccardo Tisci, featured Rosé and Kang Dong-won sitting side by side, which fueled dating speculations. Furthermore, some argued that Rosé and Kang Dong-won were spotted wearing matching outfits, suggesting a couple look.
In response, YG stated, "The dating rumors involving Rosé are not true. We would appreciate your assistance in preventing the spread of inaccurate information."
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK debuted in 2016 with 'Whistle'. They have gained popularity both domestically and internationally with multiple hit songs, including 'Kill This Love', 'How You Like That', and 'DDU-DU DDU-DU'.
