Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles have allegedly been holding a grudge against Carole Middleton.
A source told Daily Mail that Prince Charles and Camilla feels that Carole and her husband get to spend more time with their grandchildren. Since Prince Charles and Camilla have very busy schedules, they have been having a hard time hanging out with the young royals.
Michael and Carole, on the other hand, are able to spend as much time as they can with their three grandchildren. In fact, they have gone on vacation as a family. And most often than not, they are also joined by Prince William and Kate during their trips.
According to New Idea, the feud between Prince Charles and Carole has gotten a bit out of hand. As such, the heir to the throne decided to spend a huge sum of money to have a play area built for his grandchildren. This way, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis would be enticed to spend time with their grandparents.
The publication claimed that Prince Charles spent $36,000 on a shepherd’s hut for his grandchildren. However, he’s still unable to spend as much time as he can with them.
Since March, Prince Charles has been self-isolating at Birkhall with Camilla due to the coronavirus pandemic. During a recent interview, the dad of two admitted that he has been missing his grandchildren and his dad, Prince Philip. The Duke of Edinburgh will turn 99 this month.
However, Prince Charles won’t be able to celebrate Prince Philip’s birthday with him. After all, the dad of four has been quarantining at Windsor Castle with Queen Elizabeth since March.
Meanwhile, Prince Charles also made headlines this week amid claims that this previous battle against COVID-19 is one of the best things to happen to him.
While speaking with The Sunday Times, royal expert Penny Junor said that Prince Charles’ coronavirus diagnosis helped him understand those who are also going through the same thing.
And after combatting the deadly virus, Prince Charles managed to show his leadership to those in need. This, according to Junor, helped boost his profile in a positive way.
Junor also said that what Prince Charles did echo how the Queen Mother and King George VI were when they stood shoulder to shoulder during the Second World War.
The royal expert said that more people started listening and respecting Prince Charles more after his COVID-19 diagnosis.
