Natasha Blasick, Jamie Foxx's former co-star, admitted to being "freaking out" over his hospitalization until a friend's update reassured her about his recovery. Blasick contacted one of Foxx's close friends after hearing "all the news that he’s getting worse," and the friend provided some much-needed reassurance.

“He was like, ‘No, no, no, he’s recovering,'” Blasick shared with Entertainment Tonight on Thursday.

The 52-year-old actress revealed that she and her family continue to "pray together" for the actor's health, noting, "It’s really crazy. All we have in this world is our health. Our life. So it’s very scary.”

Foxx, 55, encountered a "medical complication" on April 11, just one day after he was seen on the set of "Back in Action" alongside Cameron Diaz. Since then, the singer has been hospitalized in Georgia, while a body double takes his place during filming.

Foxx's daughter, Corinne, posted on Instagram last month, saying, "Due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery," but provided no additional details about her father's condition.

Three weeks later, Jamie took to social media to provide an update for his followers. "Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed," the Oscar winner wrote on Wednesday, accompanied by praying hands, heart, and fox emojis.

Foxx also expressed gratitude to Nick Cannon on Instagram Stories for stepping in as host of "Beat the Shazam" during his recovery. Kelly Osbourne is temporarily replacing Corinne as DJ.

Despite recent assurances from Cannon, Kevin Hart, and Martin Lawrence that the "Ray" star is recovering, a source tells Page Six that Foxx's medical emergency "seems serious." The insider added that Jamie's loved ones are "holding things close to the vest" as he recovers.

Another source mentioned that when the Golden Globe winner's friends urgently asked for prayers on social media earlier this week, "nothing had changed" and Jamie "was still in the same condition."
