Renée Zellweger and her British TV host boyfriend, Ant Anstead, have taken their relationship to the next level by moving in together after two years of dating, Globe claims. However, sources say the 54-year-old Oscar-winning actress is not interested in tying the knot, despite Anstead's willingness to marry.
According to insiders, twice-divorced Anstead, 44, has made several proposals, but Zellweger remains firm in her decision not to get married. A friend shared, "Renée feels her life is full and she loves what she and Ant have built together — but even though she agreed to live together, she just doesn't feel she needs the pressure of a marriage, and tries to make Ant understand that."
Zellweger's romantic history includes long-term relationships with actor Bradley Cooper and musician Doyle Bramhall II, as well as a broken engagement to Jim Carrey. She briefly experienced married life with country music superstar Kenny Chesney in 2005, but filed for an annulment just 100 days later.
A friend revealed, "Renée realized pretty quickly with Kenny she made a mistake and she vowed she wasn't going to do that again."
Despite Zellweger's reluctance, Anstead continues to make romantic gestures in hopes of convincing her to change her mind. A source mentioned, "Ant makes big romantic gestures, telling Renée she's the woman he's been waiting all his life for, and he loves the institution of marriage, although his two previous marriages crashed."
However, Anstead's efforts have yet to sway Zellweger from her no-marriage stance.
