Kim Kardashian is facing backlash from fans after they noticed what appears to be a significant photo editing mistake in her latest selfie. The 42-year-old reality star shared a mirror selfie wearing a nude Skims bikini with the caption, “I just try on @skims swim and pray it doesn’t rain forever in LA.”
Though many admirers praised Kardashian's stunning appearance, others quickly pointed out that the image seemed to have been heavily altered. One fan questioned, “Wait where’s the middle finger?” while another observed, “Lol why was this picture edited much?!... right side finger was erased and the inner thighs on the left pixelated due to trims... .”

A third critic asked, “Why are your inner thighs pixelated? ” and another person commented, “The amount of editing is absurd. Just post a regular pic. Nobody cares… You’re in your 40s.”
Some fans came to Kardashian's defense, suggesting that her fingers might appear distorted because she was holding her phone using a pop socket. Nevertheless, this incident is not the first time the Skims founder and her famous family have faced accusations of manipulating their images.
Kim was previously criticized for allegedly editing a Christmas photo featuring her mother, Kris Jenner, and sisters Kourtney, Khloé, Kendall, and Kylie. Days later, she appeared to refute the claims by sharing a video showing that all her relatives were indeed present for the photo.

Another instance occurred last summer when an observant TikTok user accused Kim of editing out her trapezius muscle to make her neck appear smaller during a poolside outing. However, Kim's most infamous Photoshop blunder involved editing the face of Khloé's daughter, True, onto the body of Kylie's daughter, Stormi, in a Disneyland trip photo.
After Khloé inadvertently exposed the mistake, Kim admitted to the error, explaining that she "wasn't going to mess up" her Instagram feed's aesthetic. As accusations of photo editing continue to follow the Kardashian family, fans and critics alike will be keeping a keen eye on their social media posts.
