Model Olivia Culpo and San Francisco 49ers player Christian McCaffrey have revealed their engagement after nearly four years of dating. On Friday, Culpo shared the exciting news on Instagram, posting a photo capturing the romantic moment as McCaffrey proposed.
Culpo captioned the post with the date, "♾️4.2.23♾️."
The proposal took place during a Utah getaway, with their beloved dog, Oliver Sprinkles, present. Culpo's engagement ring, designed by Ring Concierge, features a Whisper Thin three-stone oval with epaulette side stones in yellow gold and platinum.

Nicole Wegman, founder and CEO of Ring Concierge, said, "We worked with Christian to thoughtfully design a ring that encompassed Olivia's trendsetting style while still remaining timeless — a beautifully cut Oval flanked with Epaulette side stones in a handcrafted gold and platinum setting."
Rumors about the couple's romance began in May 2019 when McCaffrey liked one of Culpo's Instagram photos. A few months later, they were spotted vacationing together in Mexico.
In a November interview with Entertainment Tonight, Culpo, 30, praised McCaffrey, 26, for being "the best" and "everything that I could ever ask for." She also mentioned how McCaffrey's background and family contributed to her willingness to date an athlete again after previous failed relationships.

Culpo revealed on Instagram that mutual friends introduced the couple, and they decided to give love a chance despite initial hesitations.
"The yin to my yang, you are the epitome of strength through humility. Thank you for being my rock and restoring my faith in love. You are everything I ever dreamed of and more," Culpo wrote on their third anniversary.

The couple maintains a strong bond despite spending time apart during the football season, with Culpo attributing their connection to their shared faith. McCaffrey, who was traded to the 49ers from the Carolina Panthers last fall, received unwavering support from Culpo during the transition.
In October, Culpo shared her excitement for their next chapter in California, saying, "I'm so proud of you Christian! Seeing your light shine is one of my favorite things in life and I'm beyond excited and grateful for this next chapter in Cali, the place I've called home for the last 8 years. Niners Nation, let's go!"
The couple often expressed their appreciation for the "LAX to CLT flight attendants on American Airlines" who made their long-distance relationship more bearable. Culpo thanked them for their support and the "heavy pours," joking that she won't see them as often but that they "had a good run."
