A source is sharing an insight into the relationship that former couple Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green share as parents to their three children years following their split.
Us Weekly learned from a source that the 36-year-old actress and the 49-year-old actor, who were married for over a decade, have a “great coparenting relationship.”
The same insider also noted to the outlet that with the “healthy connection” Fox has with Green, it “makes things a lot easier when it comes to managing other parts of her life.”
People recalls in a report that the two personalities first met on the set of the ABC sitcom, “Hope & Faith,” in 2004. While they began dating shortly after, it was not until 2010 that they tied the knot.
Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green welcomed their first child together in 2012. They went on to have their second in 2014 and third in 2016.
In 2020, the two celebrities called things off between them, with Fox filing for divorce from Green for a second time later that year, citing irreconcilable differences, as per the magazine.
The former couple has since moved on to their new relationships.
Megan Fox is now engaged to Machine Gun Kelly, while Brian Austin Green is with Sharna Burgess, with whom he shares a son.
Despite this, though, the former couple reportedly remains amicable for their three children.
In October 2022, a source told Entertainment Tonight that the “Jennifer’s Body” actress and the “Tickets To My Downfall” artist have “blended together” with Green and Burgess.
As stated then, the four personalities “are all cordial,” adding that Fox and Green “have a healthy co-parenting relationship.”
Meanwhile, elsewhere in the report from Us Weekly, published Thursday, the insider stated the former couple is keeping their private lives separate, noting that “it’s not the type of situation where she goes to him as a support system in terms of her romantic relationships” as she is “a grown woman who can make her own decisions and handle things on her own.”
It all comes as Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly continue to face speculations about their relationship.
Over the weekend, the “This Is 40” actress went solo to the Vanity Fair’s Oscar Party, with reports saying she made an appearance without her engagement ring. But, People noted at the time that the “forget me too” singer had a concert at The Ritz Carlton in Dana Point that day.
A source also told the magazine then that the engaged couple was “still working through relationship problems,” adding that “they’re not completely done.”
But, while Fox and Kelly were reportedly “still trying to sort through things,” the same insider alleged that “most of their friends think it is likely over” between them, although “they’re just not ready to totally call it yet.”
