Kit Harington is sharing an insight into his thoughts about being a father.
Entertainment Tonight said the 36-year-old actor recently gave an update about his wife, Rose Leslie, and their two-year-old son.
As noted, he had the exchange with the outlet at the premiere of his new Apple TV+ series, "Extrapolations."
During the conversation, Harington was asked how becoming a father has changed his views on the issues that affect the planet, such as climate change, with the outlet noting that his new series centers on this subject.
The "Game of Thrones" alum told the publication that "it's a regular conversation" he and Leslie have about their child, before saying, "and she's pregnant at the moment, so for our children's future, I look at it in some of like, our parent's generation were oblivious. We're becoming very aware."
Kit Harington continued in the same exchange with ET that "it would be our duty, and my children's duty to deal with it," adding that "it'll be the great challenge of their generation, but it doesn't stop at being the challenge of ours as well."
In the end, it is stated that the "Eternals" actor said, "We're going to have a lot to answer to for our kids."
Harington’s latest exchange with ET, published Tuesday, comes more than a month after he announced that he and his wife, Rose Leslie, are expecting their second child.
At the time, People reported that the “Spooks: The Greater Good” actor had made the revelation during an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
In the same engagement, which aired earlier in February, Kit Harington is said to have told the talk show host what he was feeling about their second pregnancy.
The actor shared that he was “terrified” and explained that “with the first baby you’re like walking on clouds and dancing through fields of daisies for nine months - well, the man is anyway,” before asserting, however, that “this time, the reality check comes much shorter. You get practical real quick,” as per the magazine.
Kit Harington and Rose Leslie are already parents to a son, whom they welcomed in February 2021.
E! News reported then that the two “Game of Thrones” co-stars, who tied the knot in 2018, confirmed the life and relationship milestone when they had an outing with their newborn child.
Aside from the sighting of the celebrity pair with their baby at the time, a rep for Harington also confirmed that they had welcomed a baby, adding that they are “very very happy,” as per the publication.
