Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly went on a private island retreat amid all the drama and controversy that they are facing right now.
In its March 17 issue, Heat UK claimed that the couple’s recent retreat could be their first step when it comes to making a big move later on.
Prince Harry and Markle have allegedly become tired of living in the United States even if they have only been in the country for a short period of time. And as a result, they are now thinking of going somewhere else.
“The situation is rapidly becoming uncomfortable to the point of untenable. There are talks of keeping base in LA and heading somewhere new like Canada, South Africa, or one of the other countries where they have more popularity and public sympathy. There’s money to be made abroad and it fits their vision of global success,” the source said.
The insider added that Prince Harry and Markle could be relocating to an eco-friendly place because the former is a huge fan of everything that’s good for the environment.
“Harry loves the idea of living in a natural and eco-friendly environment. He’s pushing hard to go down the private island route,” the source said.
Meanwhile, the source also claimed that Prince Harry and Markle are officially done with all the haters and want nothing to do with them anymore.
“Harry and Meghan have always said that they’ll never let the haters get them down, but even their high tolerance for criticism and embarrassment has been stretched to their limit. For all their bullishness, this latest move by Buckingham Palace with Frogmore has got them down, hence why they’ve been keeping a low profile,” the source said.
However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It’s not true that Prince Harry and Markle are thinking of relocating somewhere far from the United States.
The couple just moved to their home in Montecito two years ago and relocating again this soon may not be ideal for them right now.
It is also important to note that Prince Harry and Markle have two young children so it’s a must that their family has a permanent base while they are growing up.
And if the Sussexes have plans to move, more reputable sources would’ve reported on it already.
