Since last month, Ryan Seacrest fans were extremely worried about the host and television personality's health as he was suffering from exhaustion and was undeniably tired. Much to the relief of his fans, the host seems to be recovering, while some of his aficionados are still concerned about his well-being as he doesn't take enough care of himself.
Last month, Cinema Blend spilled the beans on the situation and claimed that ABC is also fully aware of the anchor's well-being. In May during the American Idol's finale, many active social media users and fans were alarmed as soon as they noticed something different in Seacrest's facial expressions and his way of speaking.
For instance, Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve host one eye looked smaller and another one got bigger while he started slurring the dialogues for a moment in the finale episode. However, what caught ABC's attention was that the next morning after the finale, Seacrest was supposed to host a talk show, Live With Kelly and Ryan, but he was nowhere to be found.
His co-host, Kelly Ripa, explained during the morning show that Seacrest was working last night, and couldn't make it to the show. The next day, Seacrest himself came forward to explain and thank Mark Andrew Consuelos who filled his place instead. Seacrest appreciated the gesture and complimented him for being so good and wishing him well for his "exhaustion".
Seacrest revealed that working without a break led him to such exhaustion due to which he took a day off to relax and went on with his show. Seacrest's representative came further during the incident to settle the entire buzz by clarifying that the host had no stroke.
The representative further disclosed in the statement that Seacrest has been working on various shows such as American Idol, Live with Kelly and Ryan, The Disney Family Singalong specials, and On Air with Ryan Seacrest.
Juggling between these four shows in the past few weeks has made him feel tired and he chose to take a “well-deserved day off,” the representative added. "Like many people right now, Ryan is adjusting to the new normal and finding work-home balance, with the added stress of having to put on live shows from home."
However, ABC executives are unsure if everything is copacetic and added that it might be a personal issue. There's hearsay that his work life is one of the reasons why his girlfriend Shayna Taylor and he broke up.
