Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez sparked feud rumors while at the Grammys.

Now, National Enquirer, in its Feb. 27 issue, claimed that Affleck and Lopez’s marriage could be falling apart and they could be heading for a divorce.

A source said that the Batman v Superman actor is the one who wants to get a divorce from Lopez because she humiliated him in front of millions of people.

“Ben is mortified by what happened. He feels like he’s become a laughingstock. He’s remembering all the reasons he decided to break it off with her in their first go-around in 2004,” the source said.

The tabloid also quoted a so-called mental health expert named Dr. Gilda Carle as saying that Affleck and Lopez have a problematic mother-son dynamic. So, Carle predicted that their relationship wouldn’t last.

Fans that saw Lopez and Affleck’s heated exchange at the Grammys couldn’t help but express their concern for the actor.

“I’m struggling with my own faith in the endurance of this marriage. They seem so frustrated and unhappy,” one fan wrote.

Forensic psychiatrist Dr. Carole Lieberman also expressed her worry for Affleck, who battled alcoholism for many years.

“Ben looked miserable at both events. I’m worried for him. He struggles with recovery,” she said.

While it is true that a lot of people expressed their concerns for Affleck following his appearance at the Grammys, the issue isn’t as bad as it seems.

There’s no indication that Lopez and Affleck were really feuding that night. And it’s possible that their exchange was just taken out of context simply because they weren’t smiling at each other.

And it’s even more untrue that Affleck and Lopez are on the brink of a divorce. Since the couple just tied the knot months ago, there’s no indication that their marriage is already falling apart.

It’s not also true that Affleck’s sobriety is at risk because he seems to have been drinking again.

All these claims were just made up by the tabloid to make it seem as though Affleck and Lopez have issues in their marriage even though they don’t have one. And even if they did, these issues are meant to be dealt with by the couple in private. As such, there’s no reason for fans to keep speculating about it.
