Brad Pitt and George Clooney allegedly had a falling out years ago and it’s only recently that they reconciled.
According to Star, Pitt and Clooney found common ground again five years after they stopped hanging out and talking to each other.
“Brad and George had a lengthy cooling-off period but they’re back to their old ways. Brad and George go back years as they both got successful around the same time. But they really bonded while working on the Ocean’s movies. They have the same sense of humor and they don’t take themselves too seriously,” the source said.
The source said that Pitt and Clooney’s respective family lives also prevented them from hanging out as often as they used to.
“Brad was busy juggling his kids, Angelina, and his career, and George still had a revolving door of girlfriends and party-boy rep. Angelina kept Brad on a tight leash. She had a lot to do with Brad and George’s falling out. Angelina didn’t have many friends and her world revolved around Brad and the kids. Angelina was wildly possessive and accused George of being a bad influence on Brad,” the source said.
The source also claimed that Jolie didn’t like the fact that she had a competition after Clooney married his wife Amal Clooney.
“Angelina was the world’s most glamorous humanitarian until Amal came. It was the most important day of his life. He was so hurt,” the source said.
However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It’s not true that Pitt and Clooney ever had a falling out. But it’s not unusual for friends to stop hanging out once they start getting into serious relationships with their partners.
But there is also no proof that Jolie prevented her ex-husband from hanging out with Clooney. After all, there’s no reason for her to do this. And it’s obvious that the tabloid just made up this life to make it seem as though Jolie is the real villain even when she’s not.
Jolie has been living a quiet life since her divorce from Pitt. Even though the exes have not reached a settlement, they are not out to make each other’s lives miserable. Right now, their children remain their priority.
