Rihanna will soon become a mom of two.
A rep for the 34-year-old celebrity confirmed to People that she is pregnant with her second baby. It comes after she debuted her baby bump in her Super Bowl Halftime Show performance.
The magazine noted that the “Good Girl Gone Bad” artist took the stage Sunday for the highly anticipated show, dressed head-to-toe in bright red. As pointed out, she has become the first pregnant woman to star in the halftime show.
The Fenty Beauty founder is said to have had her big reveal in the opening moments of her performance, with her leaving the zipper of her outfit down and touching her belly.
Sunday’s performance saw Rihanna on stage with dancers surrounding her. She had no guest appearances as she did the act solo.
In its report covering the halftime show performance, Entertainment Tonight said the “Battleship” actress kicked it all off with her 2015 track, “B**** Better Have My Money.”
She is said to have then moved on to performing “Where Have You Been,” before rocking out to “Only Girl (In The World),” “We Found Love,” and “S&M.”
For the second phase of the performance, the “Love The Way You Lie” singer sang and danced to her hits, “Work,” “Wild Thoughts,” and “Pour It Up,” as per the outlet.
Rihanna later checked her makeup using a Fenty Beauty compact amid the performance, before going into the third act. She kicked off the phase with “Run This Town” and “Umbrella.”
The songstress concluded the halftime show with a performance of her 2012 hit track, “Diamonds,” as she floated above the stadium.
Meanwhile, the “Talk That Talk” artist’s pregnancy reveal on Sunday comes nearly a year after she welcomed her first child with A$AP Rocky.
At the time, TMZ was the first to report the news, noting that sources reportedly with direct knowledge said Rihanna gave birth to a son on May 13 in Los Angeles.
People confirmed the matter hours later, saying a source reportedly close to the songstress and the “Fashion Killa” rapper spoke to them about the matter.
As claimed, the two personalities and their first-born child were at home in Los Angeles, with the insider telling the outlet that she was “doing well” and both were “very excited to be parents.”
People recalled elsewhere in its report, published Sunday, that Rihanna first revealed her and A$AP Rocky’s pregnancy in January 2022. It came after she was seen and photographed during an NYC outing as she debuted her baby bump.
The magazine then learned from a source that the “Ocean’s 8” actress was “excited to be a mom,” adding that she “couldn’t be happier.”
