Selena Gomez is making headlines because of her newest post on social media.
On Wednesday, the 30-year-old celebrity took three photos of herself to Instagram, featuring her makeup-free face. She let her natural curls down and donned cozy sweaters in the snaps, allowing her unfiltered facial features to radiate and shine.
Gomez wrote in the caption, “Me,” seemingly giving her millions of followers a glimpse of her bare-faced look. This appeared to have caused thousands of netizens to shower her with praise and compliments in the comments section.
The post has amassed more than 6.1 million likes since its emergence on the platform. It has also received over 61,200 comments, with friends and fans expressing their love and adoration for the “Only Murders In The Building” actress.
In its report covering the social media update, the Daily Mail noted that some of the celebrities who commented on the post included Nicola Peltz Beckham.
The “Bates Motel” actress is said to have praised Selena Gomez for her beauty, writing in the comments section, “most beautiful ever.”
Another celebrity pal who reportedly shared their adoration for the “Lose You To Love Me” singer is Aubrey Plaza. As stated, she left a lovestruck emoji as a comment on the post.
Selena Gomez has been making headlines these past few weeks. Prior to her bare-faced photos on social media, claims about her alleged new romance have become apparent and have since continued to develop.
Earlier on Wednesday, Us Weekly learned from a source that the Rare Beauty founder and Drew Taggart of The Chainsmokers are going strong after allegedly sparking a romance earlier this year.
The insider told the publication that the two personalities “have an amazing connection,” adding that “they’re so happy to have gone with their guts and jumped in to give this a try.”
It is also stated that Taggart and Gomez are “very into each other,” with the same source noting that him being a “nice guy” is something she “loves” about him.
The “Wolves” singer and the EDM artist first sparked dating speculations earlier in January.
At the time, a source told Us Weekly that the two celebrities are “very casual and low-key,” adding that they “go bowling and to the movies” when they spend time together.
The following day, Page Six released photos of Selena Gomez and Drew Taggart that it obtained from the pair’s Sunday outing at The Gutter, a bowling alley in New York City.
But, the songstress seemingly dismissed the speculations when she posted a photo on her Instagram Stories later that week. Entertainment Tonight said, though, that she deleted it soon after making the social media update.
In the image, which is a black-and-white snap of a gray sky, Gomez wrote in text, “I like being alone too much,” and included the hashtag, “I am single.”
