Princess Anne allegedly decided to travel to the United States to have a face-to-face conversation with her nephew, Prince Harry.
Woman's Day, in its Feb. 6 issue, claimed that Princess Anne decided to keep the trip a secret to avoid criticism and controversy. But she decided to meet Prince Harry to try and encourage him to stop talking about the royal family.
A source also claimed that the trip was sanctioned by King Charles, who is fearful of the rumors that Prince Harry has plans to stage a coronation ceremony in the United States.
“If the reports are true that the Sussexes are banned from the balcony, on top of the fact that they are still stinging over the way the coronation was planned on Archie’s birthday, Harry’s famous red mist will be in full flight,” the source said.
The source added that Princess Anne is the right person to sit down with Prince Harry that’s why King Charles decided to employ his sister’s help.
“She’s exactly the right person to have a good chat with him, considering she’s the sort who won’t be drawn in by his theatrics. She’s hoping they’ll play nice out of respect for his friendship with her daughter and son-in-law Zara and Mike Tindall,” the source said.
Royal fans who might be wondering why Princess Anne just didn’t call Prince Harry on the phone would be tricked to know that the former allegedly couldn’t get a hold of her nephew.
“He believes Anne is the only one who can talk some sense into him,” the source said.
However, one should take the tabloid’s claim with a grain of salt. It’s not true that Princess Anne traveled to the United States to have a face-to-face conversation with Prince Harry.
And it’s not also true that her trip was sanctioned by King Charles. Royal fans are aware that Princess Anne has been the hardest-working royal for many years. So, it’s unlikely for her to want to waste time by trying to take to Prince Harry in Montecito.
It’s also unlikely for King Charles to have orchestrated this kind of plan because he has been refusing to speak to Prince Harry. During his interview, Meghan Markle’s husband confirmed that he hasn’t spoken to his dad and brother Prince William in months.
